Speech & Language Therapy

Jersey is very fortunate to have an excellent Speech and Language Therapy department totally funded by Health and Social Services, with children waiting no longer than 2 months for an initial assessment and adults and children with voice and fluency (stammering) disorders usually seen within 2 weeks.

However, occasionally, it is difficult to find a regular time for treatment that fits around your work or other commitments. Therefore I can offer evening and weekend appointments.

Adults - I only accept referrals for private voice therapy from Jersey's Consultant ENT Surgeons, following full ENT examination. It is wise to contact your insurance company first to ensure that they will cover assessment and therapy.

Children - I accept open paediatric referrals, however, please note that private medical insurance rarely covers speech and language therapy for children unless it is following surgery (for example grommet insertion.)
