Catherine
trained as a Speech and Language Therapist at the University of Newcastle
upon Tyne and qualified in 1995. She has worked in Gateshead, West Sussex
and New Zealand, and now has worked for Health and Social Services Speech
and Language Therapy Department, Jersey, Channel Islands, since 2001.
Having discovered HypnoBirthing® she and her husband introduced
it to Jersey and subsequently used it for the birth of their daughter
in 2003 and again for the birth of their son in 2004. Realising the
benefits of hypnosis and relaxation was not only restricted to the area
of obstetrics but also wanting to share HypnoBirthing® with other
Jersey couples, Catherine trained at the London College of Clinical
Hypnotherapists qualifying in 2005. She has been a certified HypnoBirthing®
Practitioner since July 2004 and is affiliated with the HypnoBirthing® Institute.

Catherine lives with her husband and two children in Jersey, Channel
Islands, predominantly working for Health and Social Services but also
working independently as a Speech and Language Therapist, specialising
in Voice, a HypnoBirthing Practitioner® and Hypnotherapist.
